    PDF files get corrupted automatically without any reason


    Hi everyone,


    My project files stored in hard drive (as PDF format) was automatically get corrupt, then i have deleted all corrupt files & replace it from my backup

    but after few months again all the files were corrupted. I have attached the message displayed when i was trying to open those files by using Adobe Acrobat .


    After re installing the software also not resolved my issue.

    Corrupted file RAR

    If the archive has been created using WinRAR, why don't you try WinRAR itself? It has a built-in repair feature for repairing corrupted archive (ZIP as well as RAR). Follow the steps given below:
    • Open WinRAR application in your system.
    • Now click on File tab > Open or simply press Ctrl+O.
    • A small window "Find Archive" will pop up. Locate the corrupt RAR archive from your system directory and select it.
    • Now click Open button.
    • Click Tools tab > Repair archive or simply press Alt+R.
    • Again a small window "Repairing File name.rar" will pop up.
    • Now click Browse to select a location to save the repaired archive.
    • Check the box "Treat the corrupt archive as RAR" and click OK.
    • WinRAR will start repairing of corrupt RAR archive. Once it gets completed click Close.
    I hope the above steps will help you repair the corrupted RAR archive.

    Ghostscript will repair your corrupted PDF automatically… if it can open it in the first place (that is, if it is not damaged beyond repair). But afterwards you’ll still need to double-check the result…

    On Linux, try this command:

    gs \

    -o repaired.pdf \

    -sDEVICE=pdfwrite \

    -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress \

    corrupted.pdf

    On Windows, try this one:

    gswin32c.exe ^

    -o repaired.pdf ^

    -sDEVICE=pdfwrite ^

    -dPDFSETTINGS=/prepress ^

    corrupted.pdf

    Hey guys, I need to look up a large list of data from a PDF file, basically just to check if each entry of the list is in the pdf. Is there some way to do this without having to check one by one?
