Windows 10: PDF preview is not showing in the preview pane on my Windows 10 computer

Hello, I am having an issue with the preview pane on my Windows 10 computer. The problem is that the PDF preview is not showing in the preview pane; it only displays pure white space. There was no problem before. I did a reinstall of Windows, and since then, this has been happening. So, I want to know what the reason for that is and how I can fix this problem as well.

The preview pane in File Explorer of Windows 10 does not let me preview office nor pdf documents anymore. It only shows a little icon image and doesn't allow me to zoom in like it has done before. Is there a way
to get the preview pane to let me preview all documents again?

Setting the Preview pane to show or hide in File Explorer will apply to all folders. If you wish to hide the Preview pane in File Explorer, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• Open File Explorer.
• Tap on View tab.
• Click Preview Pane to view/hide it.

Thank you so much for your reply.

What I really need to know is how get the video to play in the preview pane. Prior to Windows 10, this worked wonderfully and was an asset. Now, it requires making changes to the Windows registry - not recommended due to the enormous amount of issues with
Windows 10.

Any other suggestions?
