Windows 10: PDF's not loading or printing in edge since KB5054979 update

Hi, I have multiple users reporting an issue with opening and printing PDF's in edge on Windows 11.This seems to be since the KB5054979 update was deployed. Whenever they try to open or print a PDF in edge it immediately kicks them out of edge with no error message. At present I have about 7 users affected with more being reported. I would prefer not to try and roll back if possible as I don't control path management so this would have to be done manually. Is there any solution for this or will it be fixed in a future update?Thanks

PDF Printing Problem With Edge

In order to assist you better could you please confirm a couple of things:

• How did you try to print?
• What happens when you try to print?
• Did you receive any error message?

Nevertheless, I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if this helps:

• Open the PDF file which you want to print.
• Click on the Ellipses which is at the top right hand corner of the Edge Browser.
• Select Print option and then click ok.

Navigating PDF viewer in Edge

I suggest you to follow the below given steps to print the page.

• Open the pdf file you want to print in Edge.
• Press Ctrl + P key to open print option.
• Select the Printer and desired page layout.
• Click on Print and check if it works.

To search any words in the Edge PDF viewer, press Ctrl + F and type the desired words in find box in left top corner of the browser and search.

Can't print from PDF viewer in Microsoft Edge

1 have the same problem. I want to print a PDFs that pops up intended to be printed. When using internet explorer it had icons for a printer. None appear in Edge. Your suggested steps are incomprehensible to me.

Where is there any documentation on how to use Edge as it is very confusing.
