Windows 10: Peculiar duplicate process names in registry

I had an issue of 100% disk usage, and to check I checked in registry and found these processes are duplicate with names of existing process. Tried to stop these by overriding start parameter with 4 disabling. Weird system process named Registry"

Upgrading to Windows Insider Preview always enables a process with the name "Registry" running as System account.

The PID is always 96.

Only description is "Registry".

Anyone know what this process i about?

Thanks for getting back to us with that information. For further troubleshooting, we suggest that you delete or edit the unwanted profile via registration keys. However, doing this method might cause some issue if you modify the registry incorrectly. We
require you to back up the registry before you modify it by following the steps on this
link.

Follow these steps for troubleshooting:

• Type "regedt32" on Search/Cortana.
• Right-click on regedt32, then choose Run as administrator.
• Locate key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList
• Manually edit the duplicate profile location in the ProfileImagePath key to that of the original, e.g.:
  
  Original: %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\jsmith
  
  Duplicate: %SystemDrive%\Documents and Settings\jsmith.domain
• Change the duplicate name to point to the original profile, then save changes.
• Restart your PC, and see if issue will persist.
