  2. disable right corner access to desktop

Right click on a blank part of the taskbar. On the Taskbar tab, in the centre, clear Use Peek to preview the desktop.

    Hi Silvia, a couple of options . . .

When you want to see the Desktop, use this keyboard Shortcut:

    Windows Key + D

    Use Peek:

Right click your Taskbar, choose Taskbar Settings

Turn on this option: 'Use Peek to preview the Desktop . . .'

Then is you move your mouse to the bottom right of your screen the Desktop will appear . . .

    Peek to preview the desktop

Just throw your cursor hard into the corner.

I also had this problem, my Show Desktop button (or Peek to Preview) was barely ¼ inch wide and very difficult to use. I researched How to make the Show Desktop button larger but couldn't find any way to do this. But there was info on how to add a Show Desktop Icon to the task bar at:- https://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/2...dows-10-a.html - I followed the instructions and now I have an Icon on the task bar and it is so easy to locate and use.

    in Windows 10 Support
Anyone else having trouble using Peek to preview the desktop?: I have it enabled. But sometimes I have to move my mouse to the far right of the taskbar several times before it finally works. It's irritating. I don't understand why Microsoft didn't at least give us the option to put a Peek button on the taskbar like Windows 7 has. 26140
