    Pen drive error after installing windows 10


    Please after I was done installing windows 10 on a PC my usb pen drive is acting like a hard disk drive and it has both usb type A and C so I could insert it in my phone and transfer files but now I can't copy files from my phone to it. Please help me fix this

    A Pen Drive or USB is a data storage device that includes flash memory with an Integrated USB interface, and is a Plug and play device. That said, your computer should easily recognize your Pen Drive without any issues. A software might be blocking it, or
    an update is needed for it to work properly. However, let us isolate your concern by providing the answers to these questions:

    • Is your Pen Drive working in other devices?
    • Were there any changes (Updates, software installation) made prior to the issues?
    • Have you tried using another Pen Drive on your computer?

    in the meantime, we suggest that you insert your Pen Drive, and check if there's any error(s) in Device Manager.

    Error when installing Win7

    when Installing Windows 7 I get an error saying ""A required CD/DVD drive device driver is missing. If you have a floppy disk, CD, DVD, or USB flash drive, please insert it now. Note: If the windows installation media is in the CD/DVD drive, you can safely remove it for this step." What should I do to get Windows to install?
