Windows 10: Pen is not working on laptop anymore

My laptop is the HP Pavillion x360 2-in-1 Laptop 14-ek0xxx and I have had it for a while. The screen cracked some time ago and the touch screen kept glitching so I disabled it in device manager and stopped using the pen as well. I wanted to try and use the pen again so I re-enebled the touch screen, which is working, and charged the pen, which worked and the white light went on, but when I go to use it nothing happens. I tried pairing it but don't know how since I have never had to pair it before it was just always automatically connected. I have been looking up solutions and I uninstalled the

Pen flicks won't work at all for me after the fall update.

One possible reason why pen flicks won't work after the update is due to corrupted system files. To assist you better, kindly answer the following questions:

• Are you getting any error messages?
• What troubleshooting steps have you done so far?

Meanwhile, we suggest that you follow these steps below on how to properly set flick settings:

• Press Windows key + x, and select Control Panel.
• Open Pen and Touch applet.
• Touch the Flicks tab.
• Ensure that the Use flicks to perform common actions quickly and easily is checked.
• Set the Sensitivity slider to the left (Relaxed).
• Touch Apply and OK.

It can be a compatibility issue between the pen and your tablet. We suggest that you visit the manufacturer of the Bamboo Ink pen for the list of devices that are compatible with the pen.
