Windows 10: Pendrive Problem!

I have a problem. I have a pendrive. It is become unable to use. Let me tell the story. Once I have trying to make a bootable pendrive with that pendrive with rufus. But suddenly for some reason my pendrive was disconnected from the computer. So again when I try to format the pendrive it make my file explorer not responding. I tried again and again but it happens same. When I try to fix with disk management, when my pendrive is attached my computer cannot load disk management software. But when I disattach it then it loads. Then I have attached it. But I have tried everything including format,

The above issue might have occurred due to the following reasons:

• Associated device files & folders are deleted on clearing the boot partition.
• Corrupted device driver installed on the PC.

Before we assist you further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• Did you check if similar issue persists on connecting other pendrive to the PC?
• When you say “It is not displayed in my computer”, are you referring to File explorer?

If the pendrive is not showing in File explorer, remove and re-plug the device to check if the issue is resolved. Removing and re-plugging the device will resolve the temporary hardware faced prior to the attempt. If the issue persists, connect another
pendrive and check if the device is displayed under Devices & drives in File explorer. This is only to check if the issue is device specific.



If the issue persists, check if the device is detected under Device manger and update to check if the issue is resolved. Updating the device drivers will enhance the performance of the device on the PC.



Follow the steps below to update the device driver and check if the issue is resolved.

• Connect the pendrive to the PC, press Windows key + X keys on the keyboard and select
  Device Manager from the context menu.
• Expand Universal Serial Bus controllers, right-click on the pendrive driver and select
  Update this software from the context menu.
• Follow the on-screen instructions and wait for the update to complete.
• After the update is complete, close the window and check if the changes are effective.

Error copying from USB HDD to pendrive

I have this issue bugging me for some time. Whenever I try to copy anything from an USB HDD directly to a pendrive I got an error. Then I always have to make the copy in two steps: first copy from the USB HDD to an internal HDD or SSD, disconnect the USB drive, insert the pendrive and copy the files to the pendrive. I suspect that the computer doesn't like to copy from USB to USB but I'm not sure. I'd like to know exactly what is this and if there is a fix. Thanks.

 

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.
