Windows 10: Pentium 4415U / Windows 11

Hello! I downloaded the program to check that my laptop was compatible with Windows 11. I was happy to find out that all of the items were supported, but I was immediately frustrated to find out that all of the items were supported except for one: the processor. Why is the Intel Pentium 4415U Gold not supported in Windows 11? After all, it's a great processor! I even manage to play games. Plus, Windows 10 support will end soon. Why not extend the life of a lot of devices? The processor passes the system requirements At least two cores clocked at least 1 gigahertz GHz on a compatible 64-bit

I am Dave, I will help you with this.

Microsoft were testing and adding some more processors, and did add some to the list, they indicate they have now completed testing, and no more processors will be added to the official list.

It is possible to install Windows 11 on an unsupported processor using the Windows 11 ISO, I have Windows 11 installed on an unsupported Core i7 7700HQ (a 2017 processor like yours) processor and Windows 11 runs very smoothly, however Microsoft advise you do not do that, they will not be liable for any problems caused by doing that and also you would not receive Windows 11 updates, however, everyone that has installed Windows 11 on an unsupported processor is still receiving updates.

Another option would be to contact your PC manufacturer to see if that processor can be upgraded.
