Windows 10: People in party using xbox console companion app say my voice is very low but I hear them fine

this is the problem ive been having in the beginning it was fine and it worked for a couple hours and then all of a sudden my friends were complaining that they can barely hear me. how do I fix this? just so they can easily hear me again. what do I have to do?

[Windows 10] Can't Hear People in Xbox Party When Connected To External Monitor

When I'm in an Xbox party (using the Xbox console companion applicatIon), I can hear other people just fine. However, when I connect my laptop to an external monitor via an HDMI cable, I can't hear other people in the party anymore, although they can hear
me just fine. All other audio works when connected to the external monitor, except other people in my party for some reason. When I switch the display over, for a split second I can hear my party members, but then it goes back to silence.

Xbox Console Companion App: Party Chat issue. Constant Static Sound?

Whenever I try to get into a party with my friends on Xbox Console Companion, they tell me that they're hearing a constant "ear-rape" static sound from my end. They can still hear me talk, my mic is just constantly also broadcasting static. I've tried
to find fixes on the internet, but the one everyone seems to suggest involving changing my recording devices settings from the default to Studio hasn't worked at all, despite other people saying it has worked for them. I'm at my wits end and don't know what
to do about it. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, please help.

 

Xbox app renamed to Xbox Console Companion for Windows 10

The Xbox app has been renamed to Xbox Console Companion starting with version 48.54.3003.0 for Windows 10.
