Windows 10: Performance issue with windows 10.

So I built a new PC that has no problems and I decided to put in my hard drive from my previous computer into it. I activated windows any everything. I updated windows and all my drivers. But my PC is very slow at loading things like chrome, and my videos are buffering and I cant render things I edit yet I can run high end games very well. My hard drive IS compatible and my Internet is 100% functional and working. Please help.[Original Title: I have an issue with windows 10.]

2. Did you make any changes in the settings of the system prior to this issue?

As you say that the system is slow and the file explorer doesn't responds well i suggest you to perform the System Maintenance troubleshooter which improves the performance of the computer. Follow the below methods and check if it helps.

Method 1. Try updating the Display drivers from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the audio drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

b. Expand Display Adapter and Select Graphic .

c. Right-click on the Graphic and click on Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.



Method 2: Windows has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with system. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your System
Maintenance.

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel.
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons.
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel.
