    Hi there,When I play Fortnite, and it probably happens in other games, my games GPU usage is high when I am not near players in a location. But when I get near players, you would think it would go up, but it goes down for some reason, from about 90%-99% to about 60-75%. And sometimes, the CPU usage goes up from about 65% to about 83%, and is also sometimes higher than the GPU usage, which i'm not sure if that is a bad thing. You might think that this is a bottleneck, but it can't be because it has a NVIDIA RTX 3050 and Intel Core I5 with 16GB RAM, which are balanced components. When this happe

    Hey there. Thanks for the suggestions and information. For some reason, my gaming laptop isn't no where near that hot anymore, but the CPU usage is around the same, even a bit higher than before. But my GPU usage is just very low when near players in game, making it have performance issues. Even when FPS is high it still feels sluggish, probably because the GPU usage is low a lot more frequently now, although I haven't changed any settings.

    All right, first let's check if one with PCI-Express is in a version below, the strange thing is that CPU and GPU bottlenecks are occurring at the same time, we'll have to see on the part.

    GPU shoots 100% for a short time when playing games and causes FPS lag

    Everything is in maximum performance. The game itself I set the graphics to low, and the FPS gets reduced by 40-60 frames once the GPU usage goes to 90%-100%. This isn't the only game that it has happenened on.
