Windows 10: Performance issues due to window 11 updates

For the past week or more I notice win11 becoming sluggish with UI and such being slow to open up and work. It was only recently that I was made aware of this being due to a couple of the recent updates put out. I can't roll back to the previous version and my system restore has become filled up with ones not going far back enough to make any difference. Got any ideas other than the fresh restart?

The above issue might occur due to presence of virus/malware content or due to corrupted system files or outdated Graphics card drivers.

Before we assist further, I would like to ask you a few questions:

• 
  Does the issue occur on accessing a particular application/program on the computer?
  
• 
  Are you facing the above issue since upgrading to Windows 10?
  

Method 1: Scan the computer for the presence of virus/malware by running the antivirus security software. Run the antivirus security software twice to detect and confirm the presence of malware/virus on your PC. Check
for the status of the scan to view the presence of virus/malware.

Method 2:
Perform System Maintenance troubleshooter.

Method 3: Update drivers

Step1: I would like you to update the drivers of the computer.

Follow the steps below to update the graphics card drivers.

• Go to device manager
• Right-click your display/graphic/video and audio/sound/realtek
  drivers.
• Click Update Driver Software and then follow the steps in the wizard that appears.

Step 2: Check in compatibility mode.

Download the network adaptor drivers from manufacture's website for Windows 10, if there no drivers available for Windows 10, download the latest driver from the manufacturer’s website and try installing it in compatibility mode. Compatibility mode
runs the program using settings from a previous version of Windows.

Follow these steps to install the drivers in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the driver from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the installation.

d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
