Performance of Redstone prelease on 1GB tablet.

MS have upgraded minimum spec of new pcs to 2GB for redstone, saying older 1GB devices may run more slowly. I have upgraded my 1GB tablet to 14388 which is close to final Redstone release.

I am happy to say it runs even better - menus are more responsive etc. Programs execute just as well etc.

See Running 14388 RS1 on 1GB tablet - Windows 10 Forums for more details.

    Windows 10 Anniversary update

Nope and it wil not be available at all for that phone. It's excluded for upgrading to Windows 10 in the first place.

So it will never get the Redstone, anniversary update.

These Lumias will get the Anniverary update in August:

    Lumia 550, 650, 950(XL),1520, 930, 640, 640XL, 730, 735, 830, 532, 535, 540, 635 1GB, 636 1GB, 638 1GB, 430, 435

Will Lumia 550 receive the Anniversary Update with its 1GB of memory?

I'm wondering where I can read up on the requirements for the Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update; I was planning on getting a Lumia 550 but heard that Redstone 1 would require 2 instead of just 1GB for both 32 and 64Bit.
