  1. Periodic Internet dropouts

Since about 3 months now i have been experiencing periodic about every 1-3 days, noted records coem later. When it happens, just plugging the ethernet cable out and back in works. Just restarting fixes the problem too. The cable is firm and it not loose. The Router even says the internet connection is completly fine at least it shows the connection as green which normally means connected where as grey means not connected. I have completly reset my system as well as upgraded to windows 11 and changed energy settings of the ethernet adapter. none of it worked. I hope someone knows whats going

    :)

    Internet Dropouts

For the last several months, I've been suffering internet dropouts on my PC. They are generally only for 5 to 10 seconds, although, the odd one lasts for over a minute. Some days there only a dozen or so dropouts,
other days there can be hundreds.

I have been using Net Monitor, which pings three DNS servers every 5 seconds. If the response is more than 200 ms for all 3 servers for more than 5 seconds, it reports a failure. During that time, I can't access
    the internet.

It doesn't affect any other devices on the network.

It doesn't seem to matter if I have nothing open, the dropouts happen even when I'm not at my machine.

    I've changed ISP.

My current ISP says there has been no drop in signal

I've tried both wired and WiFi

I've tried a wireless USB dongle

I've checked both the router and Windows logs - Windows reports a loss of DNS

I've tried different DNS suppliers - default is Google 8.8.8.8

I'm now at a loss for what to look at next.
