Windows 10: Permanently disable Antimalware Service executable?

Discus and support Permanently disable Antimalware Service executable? in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; I have Windows 10 Home, so the Group Policy edit isn't possible.     Permanently disable Antimalware Service executable?


    I have Windows 10 Home, so the Group Policy edit isn't possible.

    The usual registry hack doesn't work in newer versions of Windows.

    Is there anything else that can be done?

    PS. I know that disabling it is a bad idea security wise, and I'm okay with it because my priority is stopping this thing from randomly burning up when it's sitting on my lap xD

    Antimalware Service Executable High disk usage

    Every time I start Windows, or open a program Antimalware Service Executable shoots up to 100% disk usage for an hour or more. This cripples my computer for an hour. I have a third party antivirus program on my computer (Bitdefender) and wish to permanently
    and completely disable Antimalware Service Executable so I am no longer faced with this problem. How do I do that?

    I am still having the problem even with the latest prerelease build. The Antimalware Service Executable process is often running and taking a lot of CPU, disk and memory. The same The Antimalware Service Executable -> Windows Defender Service ...
    Too often the PC (an I7 one, 8 GB EliteBook HP) is stuck and even the response of a keyboard entry is very slow!!

    Any suggestions?
