Windows 10: Permanently disable built in Wi-Fi on Acer Aspire 3 A315

I have an Acer Aspire A 315 with a built in W-Fi that is extremely slow and slows the whole laptop. Internet speeds are approximately 2/10 DOWNLOAD/UPLOAD Mbps with the built in adapter and 40/90 with a TP Link USB adapter.I have disabled the device and uninstalled it multiple times using Device Manager but every time the laptop restarts, the AMD/Qualcomm Atheros adapter/driver reinstalls itself and the computer slows to a crawl. As soon as I disable it again the computer becomes usable.Is there a way to permanently disable the built in Wi-Fi/Bluetooth adapter? I have tried to do this fr

Is it on Windows 8's compatibility list (check MS website- forgot link)?

I had an issue with one Wi-fi adapter and it wasn't listed as compatible- All was well when I swapped it out with one on the compatibility list
