Windows 10: Permanently disable on screen keyboard in windows 10!

Hi. There are users still experiencing the annoying on-screen keyboard pop-up. Not to be confused with the Touch Keyboard! I had this issue too and tried all advice I could find to no avail! At login it popped up, running apps as administrator - the same! I had this problem for years and no one could give me a solution! This issue happened on my HP laptop running Windows 10 Pro 21H2. I found a safe little program called Unlocker. After installation, hit the Windows button and type onscreen keyboard; right-click it and click on open location; right-click on the result and click on open locati

how do I disable on screen keyboard in windows 10 ?

This does NOT work as there is no option to disable the virtual keyboard in Ease of Access

This **** VIRTUAL KEYBOARD is a major pain in the ass!

Is there a registry edit that can kill it, PERMANENTLY

Uninstalling or permanently disabling the on-screen keyboard in Windows 10

Before we disable the On-screen keyboard, I would like to inform you that on-screen keyboard is a useful features. It can be used when the actual keyboard is not working properly.


However, if you want to remove the on-screen keyboard try the simple steps and check if this helps.

• 
  Press Windows key + R, type services.msc and press
  Enter.
  
• 
  Locate for Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Service,
  right click on the service and stop the service.
  
• 
  Right click on the Touch Keyboard and Handwriting Service
  again and select Properties.
  
• 
  On general tab, click on Startup and select disabled.
  
• 
  Click on Apply and Ok.

Windows 10 tablets has a feature to enable and disable the on screen keyboard. We suggest that you disable the on-screen keyboard through the control panel by following the steps below and check if it helps:

• Press the Windows key + R.
• Type Control Panel and select the top most result.
• Type ease of access center in the control panel and open it.
• Click "Use the computer without a mouse or keyboard".
• Make sure that the "Use on-screen keyboard" is unchecked.
