Windows 10: Permanently remove "Recommended" files under "Home" in file explorer?

HiAs the title asks. How do I Permanently remove "Recommended" files under "Home" in file explorer?This section are full of files that are not mine, but say they are from someone's Onedrive for Business. How are these files on my desktop. I don't use Onedrive, Google Drive, Dropbox or any other file sharing service, so how is someone elses Onedrive files, ending up in my explorer? I've tried right clicking and removing, but they just come straight back. Surely this is a huge breach of security and a data protection issue. Can someone push out illegal materials to my PC in this way?

Cannot Remove File From File Explorers Recent Files List

I'm using Windows 10 and have always been able to remove files from the file explorer's recent files list. The file is listed as FileProvider and it is located in the ThisPC/downloads directory. Any other file is readily deleted from the list by the usual
procedure. This file is not. Any suggestions?

you get the idea. ( too lazy to put it in a for loop and test it.

or just open regedit and remove all the fileX from that key.

 

Pin File Explorer to Taskbar

I have gone through all of the recommended steps for pinning File Explorer to the task bar and nothing works. Any suggestions as to why this is happening?
