Windows 10: Permission from adult requested when i am the adult?

HelloI am the Administrator and Organizer for my laptop and microsoft account yet yet I am trying to complete Uni work and it keeps coming up saying I need an adults permission to view a certain page? I have checked my date of birth and it is correct, I have removed myself and created the family again but it still wont allow me to view the page. When I click send email for permission it then says something went wrong and gives me a trace id? Please help. Thank you.

hi I have tried to use google chrome but windows will not let me use it ,as it keeps saying I need adult permission ,but I am a adult and they have my date of birth correct showing I am 47 what on earth is going on with them

 

Adult permission in Microsoft Family

I have an issue with Microsoft Family since it keeps demanding permission from the adult for me to access my own account. I am an adult person who created this Family to follow my son’s activity. I tried to remove my son’s account from the Family
and reinstalled it again. But I still get this request. I really think that this operating system is getting worse. I cannot use some browsers because of this issue. How to remove this stuff??

 

Ask for permission You'll need to ask an adult in your family if you can use: Google Chrome

Also if you are an adult in your family and you are still having this issue do this.

• Ask for permission to use the program
• go onto another web browser and log into the other email you or a family member uses
• if you are not in the family tab add your self to the children's accounts
• accept the request to use the program
• then remove yourself from the children's account and into the adult section
