Windows 10: Permissions...exclude other home group members ?

Home group working fine...mixed 7 and 10 machines no problem.. I have a shared folder on machine A, that I want to write to from machine B which has the same user/password as an administrator on machine A. I set the folder to 'everyone' or ' homegroup', and I can write from machine B no problem. However, is there a setting that will allow me to continue to write from machine B, while excluding machine C (which is on the home group too)... In other words I want to be able to backup from machine B without out other homegroup machines being able to see the backup... Is there a way without taking down homegroup and having credentials ?

OK, I was having the same problem after upgrading my wife's computer to Windows 10 and it turns out to be a user group issue in which her account was a member of both administrator and home users, but home users only had read execute permissions. I added
modify permissions to the homeusers group and that solved the problem of Outlook not running.

An account inherits rights from the most restricted group it is a member of so the choices in this case are remove the account from the homeusers group or give the home users group the right to modify.

network and computer sharing

Open Network and Sharing Center to make the necessary changes such as change the default Public network to Private and setup file and printer sharing. The win 7 computer can be a member of a Home Group with the win 10 computer, but not the XP computer.
The XP computer can be on the home network but not in the home group. It can still access the other computers, but a Home Group makes sharing easier and faster for the members.
