Windows 10: Permissions - Win 11 Network

I have two computers, both running Win 11, but I can't network them. I keep getting error message that I don't have permission. Please help me!* Changed to a question

Win 7 and Win 10 on network

I have home network with separate modem, router, and WAP's. My Windows 7 computer does NOT list the Windows 10 computers on network computer list but the Windows 10 computers network list DO list the Windows 7 computer.

Turned off firewalls, gave permissions, shared drives. Nothing allows Win 7 computer to access the Win 10 computers.

Any suggestions for a fix?

 

How do I get Windows 11 and Windows10 computers to network so that the Win 11 computer can see files on the Win 10 computer

I have a Win 11 computer(RONS4) networked with a Win 10 computer(RONS3). The Win 10 computer can see files on the Win 11 computer and can manipulate them. But the Win 11 computer cannot see the files on the Win 10 computer. The error message is: "Network error. Windows cannot access \\Rons3. You do not have permission to access \\RONS3. How to fix this? I have tried several proposed solutions but they don't work. Notably looking at permissions and including "everyone" in all the suggested places.

 

How to fix Network in WINS 11 to share files and folders?

I have 3 desktops with WINS 11 and 1 with WINS 10. All are connected to Network via Ethernet. Only the WINS 10 desktop is able to share files with the 3 WINS 11 desktops. All desktops have the same setting for the advanced sharing settings and media streaming in the Network & Sharing Center. The targeted folders and drives have been enabled to share (Sharing Tab) with full permissions for all users, administrators (me), everyone, and owner (me) using the Security tab. I have given access to everyone for the files and folders. I still receive the error message "permission denied". There is also the error message "You do not have permission to access \\desktop IP address. Contact your network administrator to request access". I have run the network troubleshooter on the WINS 11 desktops. I have done everything that Microsoft support suggests and beyond. Still, only the WINS 10 desktop shares with the WINS 11 desktop but they do not share among themselves. Can anyone advise what to do or is this a problem known to Microsoft but not "fixable"?
