    Perpetual Screen Tearing issues.

So I noticed for a while now that for some reason, as i use my tv as a monitor for my pc, at random intervals my screen will tear and blink.

Currently it is connected to my desktop via HDMI cable got it from the guy that put up the tv, and its not just when I play a game. It tears and blinks even as I type out this post, but i know the tv is fine because i can watch cabletv through it without the blinks and tears, no problem.

I'll get to the point, i'm having issues connecting my PC to my Samsung 4K UHD TV Series 6 55 inch via Smart View.

    Please and Thank you.

    Yours Truly,

    HTC HD7 Screen Tearing Issue

I did indeed receive it. This one is a vanilla device and doesn't have any o2 branding. Furthermore, it didn't have a battery and came with a US localized rom leaving me without a pound sign on the keyboard etc. Annoyances aside, it has the same issue,
even though they promised it would be checked before dispatch. That said, it doesn't tear as badly as the other two did which suggests it is a hardware issue. HTC have said that if I want a UK rom, I'll need to send it back for another ten days (they won't
send me a rom to update it with). They're now avoiding the screen tearing issue. My complaint has been escalated to the useless care team for the third time and they should be contacting me on Monday.

    Lumia 1020 screen tearing issue

Recently changed to Lumia 1020 from 920 and noticed a few display problem.

    1) Go to the multitask page (holding the back arrow) and scroll left or right slowly, the top parts of the apps will tear.

    2) Go to the all apps list, if you scroll up or down fast, the fonts will tear.

I would like to find out if this is a hardware defect before I send the phone to Nokia Centre. Anyone experiences this too?

EDIT : Also some colour (grey) will not appear smooth but like having vertical streaks, I wonder is this the AMOLED screen only problem? Like viewing this page on the phone
