Windows 10: Persistant error installing one of Windows components upon upgrade from 1803 to 1903

I am having a repetitive issue where I try to install the 1903 update and windows encounters an error installing one of the components, then reverts back to the 1803. I have tried the following troubleshooting steps to no avail:


-Made sure all other updates have been installed

-Attempted manual update with upgrade assistant

-Made sure all drivers are up today and no errors in device manager

-unplugged all non critical devices from the pc

-disabled antivirus software

-ensured there is enough physical space on the drive

-ran the upgrade troubleshooter and resolved the issues it found

-ran sfc scan (no issues found)

-ran chkdsk (no issues found)

-ran a third party registry repair tool

-made sure region and time is correct

-reset windows update components

-ran from a clean boot



At this point, I am at a loss. I have tried everything I can find to fix the issue and it still fails every single time at the same point. Can you please review the logs to see if you can determine what the issue is and suggest how to fix this?

Latest win10 Update 1803 cant install?

@atanas dimitrov : a fix for boot error after install! and clean install of 1803: for asus boards of earlier models -simply disable vt-d in bios in chipset settings(relates to intel virtualization of devices), and the bios- OS handoff phase will pass fine and no freeze on windows logo, it fixed many x58 boards upgrade

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Unable to upgrade windows, stuck on 1803, error 0x800700003


You may need to do a repair install of 1803 first to correct errors (if you have or can get 1803 install files) and then try 1809/1903 again. Otherwise, it sounds as if you may have to do a clean install as AddRAM suggests.
