Windows 10: Persistent Incorrect Automatic GPU/Audio Driver Updates after Screen Turns Off Despite...

Every time my screen turns off, my GPU and audio drivers autimatically update to versions that I don't want and I have to reboot my PC to get the screen back on. After that I have to update them back to the correct versions, and sometimes I have to reboot my PC again due to and audio power error due to the driver which was automatically updated to a wrong version. I've disabeled windows driver updates completely, but it's still happening. I also checked recent driver updates from windows and it's theres no sign that its actually windows that incorrectly updating my drivers. But I don't underst

Black Screen During Driver Update

I reinstalled my laptop back to factory settings, and I wanted to update the GPU drivers. But when I try, the screen turns black during the update, but the computer is still running. I was forced to turn off the computer and turn it back on. I used system restore, so now I'm using the default drivers that came with the laptop. Can you guys suggest anything?

1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.
