persistent network issues in Windows 10 on Lenovo Ideapad

I have a Lenovo Ideapad laptop that is about four years old, with Windows 10. Ever since I've gotten it I have had to occasionally reset the network adapter. This has gotten more frequent until about a few weeks ago, I now have to go through this process every time I want to go online: go to network center, run the troubleshooter, it will either tell me an "ethernet cable is unplugged" not applicable, or I need to "install a phone line filter" also not applicable, but after runnign the troubleshooter I will be able to connect to wifi. Now as of yesterday this no longer fixes the problem, it now makes the computer fully shut down and restart before I can connect to WiFi, and it says it is the Qualcomm network adapter. I've already done every possible update to the computer, including checking that every single driver is up to date, really not sure what to do.

    :)

I am having trouble finding a Synaptic's driver for the Lenovo IdeaPad Z570 so that more functions can be used on the touchpad. Lenovo site does not list one for this computer. Any suggestions?

Thank you for posting the query on Microsoft Community.

I appreciate your interest on windows 10.

I understand your concern and will help you with the issue.

The issue could also be related to the drivers and other updates.

To begin with troubleshooting I would like you to answer the following question:

    • Have you got any error message when you had upgraded to Windows 10?

    • could you please tell me how did you come to know that Lenovo IdeaPad P500
Touch is not compatible with Windows 10?
I suggest you to follow the methods below:

Compatibility of Lenovo Ideapad S400 to Windows 10

I have lenovo Ideapad S400 notebook (i3-2nd gen, Ati 7450, 4GB RAM, Windows 7 HP SP1 etc.). According to lenovo's compatibility list, Ideapad S 400 is not fully compatible TO UPGRADE FOR WINDOWS 10 ; so not recommended for this upgrade. But relax,
Ideapad S400 is 100% compatible to Windows 10. No hardware issue or no driver issue were found with this free upgrade to Windows 10. My notebook is performing great with windows 10 . But I would like to advice to all Ideapad
S400 users to upgrade their pc from iso file downloaded from Media creation tool
instead of windows update or direct upgrade by MCT.
