Windows 10: personal area network pan not connecting and giving an error.

Hi,When I try to connect via PAN it gives the option belowAfter that, it gives me this screen and does not connect

bluetooth device (personal area network) listed multiple times

I am running Windows 10 Pro.
I have noticed an issue in device manager when using my bluetooth connection to create a PAN with my ipad to share the internet on the iPad.

Under network adapters, "bluetooth device (personal area network) #5" is listed. Several times I have seen #5, #6, and #7 listed after the "(personal area network)".

How do I get rid of that or edit it so that the serial numbering does not show up constantly?

If you mean Personal Area Networking (PAN) or piconet as term in bluetooth networking definitely yes as peer to peer networking amongst bluetooth devices with PAN profile.

I also faced a similar issue as Jayanth above.

I am trying to connect the Parrot Rolling Spider minidrone to my Lenovo Laptop with the help of inbuilt Bluetooth in the laptop.

My system details and configuration is:

Lenovo Thinkpad X230

Windows 10 Enterprise.

I wanted to create a Bluetooth Personal Area Network with GN profile (Parrot Rolling Spider can connect to Bluetooth PAN GN profile only.) so that I can see a Bluetooth network interface in Network and Sharing center. I paired my minidrone to the laptop
first. Then, I right clicked on the Bluetooth icon in the notification tray and selected the option "Join a Personal Area Network". My Parrot minidrone appeared as a Bluetooth headset. I right clicked on it, selected "Connect Using- Direct Connection" (PAN
GN was not available as option). The connection failed and an error pop up came but did not tell me what was the exact problem. I have attached the snapshot for the error.

My query is:

1. Is it possible to connect a device with the inbuilt Windows Laptop Bluetooth Low Energy over PAN GN protocol.? If yes, how to do it?

2. Why is the option PAN GN not available in the "Connect using" option in the "Join a Personal Network" process for Bluetooth?
