Windows 10: Personal photo in a circle on welcome page

hello all - a year or so ago I inserted a picture onto the welcome screen and above the password cell insert the pc password - it's in a small circle. I want to do the same on another pc but do you think I can remember how I did it?! Can someone please tell me how I did it ! thanks.

Can't add personal photo as Background.


Ironically, I just signed on to post that someone in another forum had suggested doing that. It does work, although the Browse button still doesn't work. It's a good work around but doesn't help if you want to put a personal photo on your accounts page.

• When you say, "generic circle above my log-in name" what exactly are you referring to?

I suggest you to try the below steps and check if it helps.

• Click on Start.
• Click on Settings.
• Click on Account.
• Under Accounts, select the option "Your account".
• Under Your picture, click on
  Browse option and you may select the picture of your choice so that it is display on your account sign-in page.

If the above steps doesn't work, I want you to send us a screenshot of the issue so that we can assist you accordingly.

New Google+ Update Brings Circle, Pages, Photos and Notification Improvements

Google has kicked off this week by initiating the roll-out of a new update for Google+, one that brings some highly-desired features while also improving those already available. First up, Google is adding a slider to every Circle so people can choose how much information from that Circle reaches their main stream. This basically allows users to limit the updates going to the stream, making it more focused on things of greater importance (less spam for everyone).

Notifications are also getting a boost thanks to the arrival of 'sneak previews' and the ability to see the +1's and shares received by posts. As for Photos, they can take advantage of a redesigned Lightbox which allows for 'improved navigation, enhanced comment legibility and better overall utility'. Photo tagging has also been improved and is now faster and easier.







Last but certainly not least, the brand Pages have been tweaked so they can have up to 50 administrators, all of them updated constantly through the new notification flow. Moreover, Google+ will provide an aggregated count of users that have been +1-ing or adding a brand page o their Circles.

All of these goodies are already en route and should be available globally in a matter of days.
