    Personalise->Background not detecting dual monitor setup after startup


    I have an annoying problem that Personalise->Background does not detect my correctly set up extended dual monitors after restarting Windows 4 out of 5 times. This only affect the background settings as far as I've seen, everything else, like taskbar settings and the notification area moved to secondary monitor, seems to work fine.Symptoms:Background set to span over both monitors become centered on both monitors individually.Personalise->Background does not allow me to set different images on each monitors.If I go to display settings and rearrange my displays or change any display set

    Dual Monitor Setup Issues

    I have a dual monitor setup that works fine once I go to Intel Graphics Settings > Display > Multiple Display > Detect. But every time I restart my PC I have to do those steps again to get it to work. How can I have my second monitor recognized by default
    on startup?

    Double Monitor Setup is not connecting

    Hi Yuri,

    To setup dual monitors, I suggest you to press Windows + P keys
    and select Extend or the required option and check for status. If you are still unable to setup dual monitor, suggest you to update the Display Adapter driver by following the steps provided below and check for status.

    • Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
    • Expand Display Adapters.
    • Right click on the driver and select Update Driver Software.
    • Follow the on-screen prompts to update the driver.

    • Are you getting an error message/code when trying to run the dual monitors?
    • Have you tried running the hardware troubleshooter?
    • Have you tried running the System File Checker tool?
    • What troubleshooting steps have you already performed?
