Windows 10: Personalised High Contrastr theme not reloading on restart

After the win 10 pro 17134 update, everytime i start the PC, it loads my high contrast personalised theme that i created

for a brief second initially on start up, and then switches to the standard high contrast theme.

Basically i cant get the personalised high contrast theme to stay "put". I need to manually reload it from the "personalisation settings" every start up.

The personalised theme is "saved" as a file in settings/personalisation ok, it just doesnt load and stay on start up.


I even re created and saved the personalised theme from scratch , but same result.. it gets wiped away and reset to the standard high contrast theme

on restart.

How do i get the personalised theme to "stay put" on start up. As i said it boots with it for a second, but reverts to the standard high contrast theme every time.

Which Is the latest build installed in your computer?

To check the latest build installed in your computer
Press Windows key + R and type winver.

Follow the Methods below and check.

Method 1: I suggest you to follow the steps below and check if it helps.

1. Press “Windows + U” to open
ease of access center.

2. Select Set up High contrast and customize as you required.

Method 2: Please follow the steps mentioned below:

• Right click on the desktop and select Personalize.
• Select Themes and click on Themes settings.
• Select any Windows default theme and check with the issue.

EMUI

Here's the steps to update EMUI 4.1.1 to 5.0 :

• Download the EMUI 5.0(desired version) .zip file, and unzip it.
• Place the .hwt file in the HWThemes folder from your phone.
• Using the Themes app, apply the new theme.
• Restart the phone, in order to see all the new changes.

And you’re done!

 

Win10 Explorer D theme non- High Contrast

Windows 10 dark theme doesn't work for explorer, i found a dark theme that did but it was a high contrast type. im looking for a normal dark theme that doesnt change taskbar, menu looks like the high contrast themes. Does anyone know if such theme exists
without having to do registry changes, theme patchers or resource hackers? I just want to go to personalisation/themes and click on one and it changes.

one other thing, under personalise, the colors are fixed. i cant create custom colors like windows 7 and before. windows ten only gives me a choice from ugly colors. was that ever fixed? i have version 1607 (OS BUILD 14393.187) THANK YOU, MC16
