    Received an e mail from Microsoft Defender but from a g mail. My e mail but nit my name. They say they are billing me 400.00 for Microsoft Defender I do not want to call the number they provided. I think it is pfishing but cannot find where to forward it to Microsoft.

    How do the fake popups get past all my security ONLY in IE11 and only on the MSN home page

    Thanks for the explanation.

    Fortunately for me, I never trust pop ups, but I do find them annoying ... Like scam/pfishing emails, though you can report those more easily.

    Windows 10 upgrade activation failed

    Toshiba Netbook NB205 with factory Win7.1. Completed "Microsoft Update driven Windows 10 "free upgrade" late last night. Immediate sanctioning for no activation.

    Well, well;

    My OEM key us four couplets and the Win10 is requesting one with five !

    The "Store" offers no help for this "FREE" upgrade except a price tag of $119.00

    Warnings of "Must be registered/activated within 30 days!

    I wonder how much revenue they've already pfished with that tactic?
