Windows 10: Phantom Dust - You could not be signed in. PC

I was hoping someone might have a fix for this. After launching Phantom Dust from the .exe, Microsoft store, and Xbox app, the game reports that I "could not be singed in" and gives me the option to try again or close the game. If I "try again" the game immediately gives me the same error as before. I have reinstalled the game twice onto my C: drive, and double checked that my firewall settings weren't blocking anything. My antivirus is disabled and I still have this issue. I am able to sign into and play other games with my Xbox account, so I am unsure what this issue could be caused by.

There are several factors that may have caused the issue in signing in to Phantom Dust. It is possible that you are unable to sign in to the game itself.

To properly isolate your concern, please provide us the following information:

• Are you launching the game through Xbox app?
• Are you signed in to your account on the Xbox app?
• Based on the image that you provided, what happens when you click the Yes button?

Trying to play Phantom Dust on Windows 10 but it keeps saying I'm not signed in, even though i am signed in to my account in the store.

When i click sign in, the screen flashes for a split second as if it is trying to sign in, but nothing actually happens, and it goes back to the image provided. This happens in both phantom dust and the xbox app.
