Windows 10: Phishers created a Hotmail account using our company name.

I own a company in Guadalajara Mexico called www.mextend.net Some phishing organization has created a Hotmail account using our brand name their account is: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. They are approaching other companies acting as a Mextend employee, making inquiries around the globe. We have been contacted by several companies making reference to an employee that doesn't exist. Also they forwarded one of these phishing emails to us. They present themselves as Mextend employees and even put an address in another city Tijuana and a fax number, so no phone numbers. Deleting hotmail accounts?

I think it'll just get put down as avaliable so another person can create an account with that name. At least I think that was how it used to work. I have a Hotmail account that I use about once a year (don't have any Live stuff connected to it either) or so and it has never been removed. But I think I could create a new account with the same name and it would be avaliable.

EDIT: No, I cannot create a new account with the same name. It was at least six months ago I used it last time.

 

How do I edit, in Hotmail, a "company phone" number?

• I create a new contact on my phone
• I enter a business name
• I enter a phone number into the field marked "company phone"
• I save my changes to my WinLine account

I then view my new contact in Hotmail Contacts online, and it shows only the contact name. No phone number appears at all. There is no "company phone" field when viewing nor editing contacts in Hotmail Contacts. Bug?
