  1. phishing email reporting

I see in the Microsoft Defender information it says to: Reporting spamAnti-Phishing Working Group: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***. The group uses reports generated from emails sent to fight phishing scams and hackers. ISPs, security vendors, financial institutions, and law enforcement agencies are involved. When I do this today it comes back the email to *** Email address is removed for privacy ***, it comes back as as undeliverable. Is this link no longer working? Ron

  2. phishing email

While there are legitimate emails from the Microsoft account team,
email phishing scams using the Microsoft name
are very common so you have to be very careful. A
legitimate email address domain from Microsoft is @accountprotection.microsoft.com.

This is an example of an older scam:
Ask Leo: Is Windows Live Hotmail about to close my account?

  3. phishing scam?

    Hi Marie,

There are different types of Phishing scam, and the one that you received might be probably a
"Deceptive Phishing" or "System Reconfiguration Attacks". For you to prevent receiving a phishing email and to be more aware about scams, we suggest that you report it by following the steps on this
link. There are tips as well on the said link on how to determine a phishing email.

We're looking forward to your feedback.

How to Report Fraudulent "Microsoft Account Team" Phishing Email in Mail App

Thanks for suggestion, JaspreetSingh08. While this link contains much useful information, I do not see how your suggestion directly addressed the question of how to report a phish (that purports to be from Microsoft) via the Win10 Mail app. The closest that I found via the link is this generic suggestion related to office365 that presumably includes the Win10 Mail app under "other":

If you're using an email client other than Outlook, start a new email to *** Email address is removed for privacy *** and include the phishing email as an attachment. Please don't forward the suspicious email; we need to receive it as an attachment so we can examine the headers on the message.

Given that the Mail app is still(!) not very good, there may not be a better answer.
