Windows 10: Phonak Hearing aids pair, but do not show up as audio devices in Windows 11 after update

Hearing aids were paired but following an update have not been able to show up as an audio device.Phonak Hearing aids.They do pair via bluetooth.

Pairing hearing aids - device not detected

So, as a try, I was interested whether I could get sound on my hearing aids whilst watching a TV broadcast thru Microsoft Edge. Of course I can switch on the speakers but this is not desirable at times.

Along with my hearing aids I have a small device named ConnectClip. This device 'connects' other sound sources to my hearing aids. For instance, when listing to the radio on my smartphone.

Anyway, ConnectClip should be paired. I followed the video tutorial on this, that says nothing more than to enable Bluetooth, switched on the ConnectClip and select the device from the list at 'Add new device'.

As expected, it isn't that simple: the device is not detected.

I tried all kinds of settings but run out of ideas.


FWIW : at Control Panel > Network and Internet > Network Connections I do notice an entry
"Bluetooth Network Connection 2" reading 'Not connected'
I am not sure whether that has something to do with it though.

The Device Manager > Bluetooth does not show some kind of 'Bluetooth adapter'.

Windows 10 x64 19042.985
I can't verify the currently installed Bluetooth version.

Anyone any suggestions..??

Phonak Marvel 70 hearing aids

Hello I usr a phonak marvel 70 hearing aid in my left ear my right ear does not work. I can get the hearing aid to pair to my windows 10 PC and it says connected voice, music.



But the audio is always cutting in an out or playing back squeaky and distorted or you hear absolutely nothing at all. I am wanting to use this to hear people talk in games and to talk back to them but asbit is I cannot.

My pc has bluetooth 5 built-in to the motherboard. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

Linking Hearing Aids via Bluetooth

I have Phonak Audeo M90-R hearing aids. I have connected them to my computer and they are showing as 'other devices' not in audio. When I look to transfer the sound from my PC speakers to the hearing aids there appears to be no way to do it. I have followed
suggestions with updating and restoring drivers, looked under manage sound devices (they are not shown) but nothing seems to work!
