Windows 10: Phone Link App - Cannot connect audio to my remote client PC

Hi,my cell phone is connecting to Remote Desktop Host PC.In all my remoted desktop client setting, microphone and speaker setting already changed to:Client PC:Remote audio playback = "Play on this computer"Remote audio recording = "Record from this computer"and I double checked, the setting in Host PC => System => SoundOutput = "Remote Audio"Input = "Remote Audio"But, seems.....the Phone Link App still cannot listen and play voice from Client PC.May I check with you if it is a bug or you don't have this function built yet?ThanksSunny

help to remote connect

No need to setup a permanent remote connection for FB add-on's. I'd suggest Team Viewer. It's free and will allow you to access his pc safely and take control.

 

Playing audio while using Microsoft Remote Desktop client on Mac to access Windows

Versions

• Mac OS Monterey (12.1)
  
• Microsoft Remote Desktop Version 10.7.2 (1965)
  
• Target Machine: Windows 10 Pro 21H1
  

Desired State

• Using Microsoft Remote Desktop client on Mac to access Windows 10 machine
  
• Would like any audio to remain/play on the Windows machine
  
• Option is set accordingly on the Mac RDP client (see insert below)
  

Problem

• When connected to the Windows machine, no audio plays on the Windows machine
  

Workaround

• Before connecting via RDP from the Mac, launch any application by logging directly into Windows and generate audio
  
• Let the audio continue playing
  
• Initiate connection from the Mac RDP client to Windows
  
• Audio continues to play locally on Windows, as desired
  
• End the application
  
• Then, any new audio played on the Windows machine plays locally as expected
  
• If I disconnect the RDP session and re-connect, Windows audio stops working again
  
• Have to repeat workaround
  

Has anyone else noticed this? Any pointers? Thanks!

 

Remote app for android

I recently traded in my iphone for an android, and just realized that hippo remote is iphone only. I'm looking for a similar app for android so I can use it as a remote for my htpc. Any suggestions?
