Windows 10: Phone Link app "Copy" function under notifications for messages with 6-digit codes is not...

Hello, I am using Win11 23H2 and Phone Link 1.24042.107.0 app connected to my Android 14 Galaxy s22. All functions in the app seem to be normal but one specific function within notifications. Upon trying to log in to my two-step secured web accounts, I get a text message with a 6-digit security code. This message shows up in the "Notifications" panel. below the message text the app give an option to smartly "Copy " the code digits so that you can quickly paste it anywhere needed. For me, this function doesn't copy the code. I have to open the message in the main panel and

I would suggest you try To check the notification settings on your Moto E phone running Android 10, follow these steps:

1. Open the "Settings" app on your phone. You can usually find it in your app drawer or by swiping down from the top of the screen and tapping the gear-shaped icon.

3. Look for the "Phone Link" app in the list of installed apps and tap on it. If you don't see it, you may need to tap on "See all [number] apps" to view the complete list.

4. Once you're on the Phone Link app settings page, you should see various options related to the app.

5.!Look for the "Notifications" or "App notifications" option and tap on it. This will take you to the notification settings specifically for Phone Link.

6. Ensure that the toggle switch for "Allow notifications" or a similar option is enabled.

7. Additionally, you may see other specific notification settings, such as "Sound," "Vibration," or "Lock screen." Adjust these settings according to your preferences.

By reviewing and adjusting the notification settings for Phone Link, you can ensure that you have enabled notifications for new text messages.

MS app for 10, Your Phone not copying clickable links in messages,

appears in the sent messages as only text. See when you select to copy text in a browser, if there is a hyperlink, it will preserve it when pasted in another browser tab text box. But with the Your Phone 10 app from MS, it is text only. Is there a setting for that, cause otherwise the phone app is not very useful to me. I just sent a forum message with a clickable link to a friend's phone, but comes out as text only. So then had to use the phone to share the link. So not useful if have to double the work, might as well just use the phone and not bother with windows linked to the phone.

The Microsoft store and the Phone Link app itself state there are no updates available and it is up-to-date. The Google Play store on the Galaxy S22 lists the Link to Windows app as being up-to-date also.

Windows Settings / Windows Update lists no major pending updates, apart from its usual annoying message about upgrading to Windows 11 which I do not yet wish to do.

It does seem to be only this particular function that is not working. I am even receiving WhatsApp messages on the Windows PC, but because the Messages "Send Notification" is not working, I am currently unable to receive traditional SMS/MMS messages. I can even screen cast successfully.

Edit: I have done followed all the suggestions on the troubleshooting page, and have even tried reinstalling both Phone Link and Link to Windows, without success.
