Phone Link app fails to open adroid screen over 5G wifi but works well over 2.1 wifi Checked router, rebooted everything still same problem. Router is setup ok. The phone and the pc are both connected to the same 5g wifi, but the android screen will not come up. Switch both devices to legacy wifi and it works as intended.I am out of things to try. Is 5G supported in the app's screen sharing?

so how does this work, is it a wifi replacement, or a 3G replacement?

if its meant to do both at once that could go horribly wrong, with a persons home wifi connection interfering with a neighbours roaming 5G connection


if its purely wifi, why the confusing name after 2/3/4G are all roaming solutions?

-Does your other devices like phone or other computers can see the 5G wifi?

-Are you able to connect to a different wifi networks aside from the 5G can you please check.

What is the exact model of your computer?

To check the system model proceed with these steps.

-Press Windows key + R

-Type msinfo32 and hit enter.

-Look for the System Model and Manufacturer and post it here.

For the meantime try to restart the router and check if you can access the 5G
