Windows 10: Phone Link app only shows messages from last month

Discus and support Phone Link app only shows messages from last month in Windows 10 Software and Apps to solve the problem; That's pretty much it. It only shows messages dating back to 1/18/24.     Phone Link app only shows messages from last month


    That's pretty much it. It only shows messages dating back to 1/18/24. Does it matter which phone messaging app I'm using?

    Phone Link app missing text messages

    In Phone Link make sure your phone shows Connected. If it is Offline, click on
    Phone Link app only shows messages from last month 405219d1707372212t-phone-link-app-missing-text-messages-sync.jpg
    to try to resync the phone with Phone Link.

    Phone Link app missing text messages

    I just noticed the the Phone Link app is only displaying texts from the last month. Am I wrong, or is this not the norm?

    Phone Link Message Llist

    Phone Link works well, but I have noticed that on the laptop (Windows 10 Pro), that only the last 8 messages are showing which go back almost a month. Is there some limits on how many messages are shown on the laptop phone link or for how long back the list will go perhaps?
