Windows 10: Phone link app shows txt messages that have been flagged as scam or spam. ref 1053859562

in the latest version of the Phonelink app on Windows v1.23032.196.0 Phone Link 1.23032.196.0 on Android - at the time of posting these appear to be the latest versionsmessages that are marked by my phone as scams or spam, and get hidden away on the phone messages app, don't get hidden on the phone link app in Windows, so the list of text messages has scam/spam messages interspersed amongst normal messages, making it frustrating to use.could the phone link app please be updated to support the hiding of messages that phones have automatically flagged as scams or spam?support chat ref 1053

how long would it take for me to no longer be flagged as spam? I am unsure if I am flagged but I assume that I am because out of frustration the other day, I spammed requests for codes and am no longer receiving messages entirely.

This is easier than it appears. I have been able to delete the spam messages from PhoneLink on my PC.

The spam message is on your phone, but it's in the spam folder. I found mine from the main Messages list, clicked on the three dot menu, chose ""Spam and blocked" -- and the spam messages were there. Then I clicked on them individually, chose the three dot menu again, and delete.

They immediately disappeared from my Phone Link app on my PC. but even if they don't disappear immediately, you can "refresh" and they will be gone.

 

Spam Texts showing up on Your Phone app

My phone filters any spam text messages to a blocked folder. It didn't used to do this, but now when I use the Your Phone app, all of those blocked texts show back up on my Messages list on my computer. I've used this app for a year and the spam texts
never showed up until recently. Is there a setting somehow so I can get rid of them on the app? I went and deleted all of the blocked texts from my phone, but since this never was a problem before I'm hoping there's a simple setting change that I can make
that will make sure this doesn't happen in the future.
