Windows 10: Phone Link - Audio from Calls not outputting on PC

I have tried everything I can think of but the audio on calls are not outputting on the PC Speakers.I have uninstalled and reinstalled Phone Link via Powershell.All the Phone Link permissions are allowed on the phone.I have Unpaired and Re-paired the Phone in Bluetooth.I have a fairly current Android phone.I suspect it is a bug in Phone Link.

I found out about the problem when I ran games on the phone using Phone Link. Assuming that the PC is connected to the phone with Phone link On the phone if you look at the Bluetooth settings you will see that:

• Calls = Enabled
• Audio = Not available

However, on the PC if you run Bluetooth Audio Receiver and open a connection to the phone then On the phone if you look at the Bluetooth settings you will see that:

• Calls = Enabled
• Audio = Enabled

 

S22 Ultra doesn't maintain bluetooth output for call on PC via Phone Link

Whenever I try to initiate or answer a call on my PC via Phone Link app, it will make/ answer the call but the sound/ audio will play through my phone instead of my PC.

When in a call, I will select my PC as the Bluetooth source output but within a few seconds it turns off and continues to play the audio through the phone (ie. it never actually connects and plays the audio through the computer)

I've made sure Bluetooth is on and discoverable on both devices. I've disconnected the devices and connected them again. Permissions have been enabled as well and I've restarted the phone.

Sending and receiving texts, photos, copying and pasting text all continue to work; it's just the calls that aren't working.

2. Update Your Phone App and Windows 10:
   
   Make sure both the Your Phone app on your PC and the companion app on your phone are updated to the latest versions. Also, check for any pending Windows 10 updates by going to Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update and clicking on Check for updates.
   
3. Check Audio Settings in Your Phone App:
   
   Open the Your Phone app on your PC, go to Settings, and look for any audio settings related to calls. Make sure the correct audio devices are selected for both microphone and speaker.
   
4. Check Bluetooth Connection:
   
   • If you're using Bluetooth headphones or speakers, ensure they are properly connected to your PC and not just to your phone. Sometimes, Bluetooth audio devices can interfere with audio routing during calls.
     
5. Check Privacy Settings for Microphone:
   
   Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone on your PC and ensure that access to the microphone is allowed for the Your Phone app. If not, this could be preventing audio during calls.
   
6. Reinstall Your Phone App:
   
   • If none of the above steps work, try uninstalling and then reinstalling the Your Phone app on your PC. This can fix issues caused by corrupt app data or installation errors.
     
7. Check for Interference from Other Software:
   
   • Sometimes, other software on your PC can interfere with the Your Phone app. This might include virtual audio devices, other communication apps, or security software. Try temporarily disabling or closing other software to see if this resolves the issue.
     
8. Use the Troubleshooter:
   
   Windows 10 has built-in troubleshooters that can sometimes identify and fix issues. Go to Settings > Update & Security > Troubleshoot > Additional troubleshooters, and run the troubleshooters for both Playing Audio and Incoming Connections.
