Windows 10: phone link for windows 11 does not sync to paired iphone 16

I am running Windows 11. It is fully up to date.I have the latest Phone Link app, up to date. To be sure, I have run "repair" and "reset". I have a new iPhone 16 5 days old. The two devices are paired with Bluetooth. I have toggled "sync contacts" and "show message notifications" to the "on" position.I open the Phone Link app in Windows and generate the QR code. I scan the QR code with my phone camera, and the phone then says "Your phone will connect to a paired PC when in range."And that's it. Nothing else happens.

iPhone 11 wont' pair with Phone Link (O/S Windows 11)

I am unable to pair my iPhone with Phone Link.

• Windows 11 is updated
  
• Link to Windows is updated and installed on my iPhone
  
• PC is paired with the iPhone, and vice versa
  

I don't see Phone Link listed as an installed app under settings

Phone Link is listed as a default app under the settings

Phone Link is turned on as a start up, although it is listed as "not measured"

The pairing was successful until last fall and now isn't working.

 

Pairing a phone to a car

One thing I would add ... There should be a list of paired devices on the phone, If so it would be best if you "UnPair" any devices listed on the phone as well as the phones shown on the Car. To Unpair a device from an Android Phone go to Settings, Bluetooth and there should be a list of paired devices - at the right of each paired device is a "Cog" icon click on this and click on the unpair option, repeat for any other unneeded devices.

Sometimes paired items get out of sync and both sides need to be removed to re-pair

 

Phone Link with iPhone, currently no Bluetooth

Hi all,

I was very much looking forward using Phone Link now that I got myself to update to Win 11.

Unfortunately, my PC doesn't support Bluetooth. Hence following questions:

Is there...

1. an update coming where iPhone are able to pair via Wifi?
   
2. a possibility to connect the iPhone via USB / Tethering?
   
3. a way to solely receive and write messages via Windows on my iPhone, with no Bluetooth connection required?
   

If all of this is a no, what would be the easiest way to retrofit Bluetooth? Would any 3rd party USB Bluetooth adapter be sufficient? If so, could you suggest/recommend one?
