Windows 10: Phone Link Gives Invalid QR Code?

Hi everyone,When I open the Phone Link app, I click on "Open QR Code" on the yellow bar on the top of the app. When I do, and try to scan the QR code I get "Invalid QR Code" on my Android phone.I have attached a screenshot.

I have never had a problem using Phone Link with My Samsung S21 when connecting to any of my desktop computers using a wired network connection or my laptops using a wireless connection. Note if there is a problem I just remove the respective devices on both ends and tried again. BTW, I am using my ASUS laptop with Phone Link but it is not a registered device for my Microsoft account. ON PC 1. Click Get Started

2. Click Sign In

3. Click Pair with QR code. QR code is shown on PC screen.

[B]ON PHONE[/B] 1. Start Link to Windows

2. Select Add computer

3. Select Continue. Point phone at QR code on computer screen to scan code. When done setup is complete.

When I try to connect my HP laptop to my Samsung Galaxy S20 it says that the QR Code is invalid. What do I do?

I suggest you try the following steps :

1. Ensure that your phone and PC are connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

2. Make sure that your phone's camera is not obstructed and has permission to access the camera.

3. Restart both your phone and PC.

4. Try scanning the QR code again.

If the issue persists, you can try uninstalling and reinstalling the Phone Link app on your phone and PC.
