Windows 10: Phone link has an echo?

I am running a desktop Dell pc and windows 11. My speaker is a bluetooth soundbar from Samsung. My microphone is a USB Jounivo sitting on my desk. my phone is a Samsung Fold 4. If I use the Phone Link app to make a call using the mic and soundbar, the person on the other end always hears an echo of my voice.Looking for suggestions to fix this problem.

Your list confirms my phone is eligible, Lumia 521. The windows Insider App fails after ~ 15 seconds, restores data and gives me error 80073cf9. I trouble shot this and went thru all the steps mentioned on several websites including MS without any luck. Short of a hard reset, this is where I am now. Suggestions appreciated.

 

Echo Test Won't Connect Need Fix?

There are a lot of possible causes why you're unable properly use the echo test on your device. This may be an issue with your driver or if you using an application it's needing to be updated. To isolate the issue, we'd like to ask a few questions:

• Are you using an application like Skype or other social applications?
• What troubleshooting steps have you tried so far?
• Did you make any changes to your device before experiencing this issue?
• What's the make and model of your device?

Phone Echo

I'm using a genuine Nokia CK-1W hands free with the 6110 Nav and it echos like mad. I have one regular caller who refuses to talk to me on it and most of my in car calls are pretty short! I previously used the CK-1W with a N70 and it worked fine so I would
suggest that it's the 6110 at fault - other than that I love the phone. I've just done a firmware re-install (I already had the latest version on there - v 03.51), but the echo is still there as bad as ever.

If you are going to use an in car bluetooth kit with the 6110 I would ask the supplier to guarantee that the echo will not be there prior to purchase.

Hopefully Nokia will fix this in the next firmware upgrade - it can't be that hard if the N70 worked ok
