  1. Phone Link has permissions, yet refuses to use them STILL AN ISSUE

My phone is, in every way shape and form, connected to my laptop. I can stream my screen, view notifications, dial numbers and see recent call history...But it absolutely refuses to let me see texts or my photos.I try to have it send me the notification, but 2 different things happen for either texts or photos. When I try to link my photos, it opens the Link to Windows App Info on my device, and says to give the app permissions WHICH IT ALREADY HASWhen I try to link my SMS, it sends my device back to the home screen but does nothing else with it, then on my laptop it shows an error saying it

  2. Your Phone App - Link to Windows not working

Has anyone found the secret to getting the Your Phone - Link to Windows App working correctly? Looking at the number of posts in other forums saying they have problems there is clearly a major issue with this App. It's a pity because it used to work quite well before recent Windows updates. Basically my phone (Samsung A515) will connect to Your Phone on my PC and I can see the headers of Notifications on my PC. If I try to read Messages or access Photos or open Desktop Apps it says I need permissions and asks me to click on a link to send a permission request to my phone. It never arrives. I don't see any permission request. Also it doesn't say what permissions are missing nor how to enable them. The response from MS is always to ensure that your phone and PC Apps are at the latest version (they are). I suspect there is a major bug in this App, yet others seem to suggest that it does work. Hopelessly confused. Winver: 21H1 19043 1237.

Phone Link has permissions, yet refuses to use them

    Hello

Unfortunately I have issues with both of these reccomendations.

I'm not having an issue with streaming my phone's screen to my laptop, I'm having an issue of using my phone's apps within my laptop's phone link. (E.G. reading and sending a text from my laptop, without having to pick up my phone)

And secondly, going into Settings > Apps, I don't see anything called "Installed Apps", I'm brought to a window called "Apps & Features", and only see a list of some of the programs installed on my laptop. Phone Link isn't listed.

    Thanks
