I understand that you are unable to use the phone link since it gives "Invalid QR Code" error. Please restart both of your device then open the Phone link app on both devices and try to scan the code again on your Phone link app in your Android phone.

If the above does now work, I suggest to remove the devices on both phone link app and start to set-up Phone link again.

I understand how frustrating it can be to encounter issues with linking your phone and PC. It seems like you've been experiencing some difficulties with the QR code.

For security reasons, multiple failed attempts can cause the "Invalid QR Code" error. To resolve this, please close and reopen the Phone Link app on your PC. To ensure a smoother setup, I recommend closing both the Phone Link app on your Windows 11 PC and the Link to Windows app on your Android phone. Make sure they are not running in the background. Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi network with the same channel (2.4 or 5 GHz) and pair them via Bluetooth.

Then, open the Link to Windows app on your phone and ensure that you are logged in with the same account, and continue the setup process.

If you continue to face issues, please try resetting both apps on both devices and give it another shot.

Phone Link Gives Invalid QR Code?

Hi everyone,

When I open the Phone Link app, I click on "Open QR Code" on the yellow bar on the top of the app. When I do, and try to scan the QR code I get "Invalid QR Code" on my Android phone.

I have attached a screenshot. There are no instructions to generate a valid code. Can anyone help?
