Windows 10: Phone Link is creating a conversation uncommanded

Phone Link is creating an uncommanded conversation and then replies with an MMS copied back to me when all I am doing is replying to a standard incoming SMS with a standard SMS text reply! So the message list then contains the new conversation independently of the SMS chain. But then even more bizarely the original sender's reply is inserted after her original SMS whilst my replies appear in the separately listed conversation. So our exchanges are now appearing non-contiguously. If I delete both the SMS text messages and the phantom MMS conversation and then create a new SMS from my list

As admin, when installing a link to an app in my desktop a matching link is created in another account

Removal of the 2nd link also deletes the original from my desktop

Not: All 2ndary link activities are occurring uncommanded

Thanks so much. I will certainly follow your tutorial in the future. I think resetting did the trick, and I was also able to set a pin code. Question. I am confused about one ongoing step: "Go to www.aka.ms/addComputer" in your browser." A search for this, and other similar url's suggested in the Phone LInk setup always ends up the same way, with a trip to nowhere.

Clicking in those types of links end up in a blank tab
