Windows 10: Phone Link is not notifying me of new text messages

Why might Phone Link 1.23032.196.0 c2023 have stopped notifying me of new Android Messages i.e., SMS texts sent to my Moto-E phone running Android 10. ? I've turned all the related Android Messages features and notification settings off and on, cleared Messages' cache, and restarted the phone. Phone Link does notify me of phone calls. If I re-install the app or clear its data, will I see my old texts again?Thanks

Try editing the options on your Goto list and add new text message to the list, that should save you 2 steps.(+-4seconds



on most phones the left navigation key is set as a shortcut to create a new text message by default so try this also

 

How to send an email that a phone receives as a text?

At my office, we want to have the ability to communicate with our electricians who are fairly low tech people. They don't check emails often, but text messaging would work fine for our need. I know with Verizon and Sprint you can using the text messaging app on the phone to text an email, and then if you reply to say L: 9995724770@VTEXT.COM that email will go to the phone as a text message.

Short of having all the electricians text an email to get these addresses, is there an easier way to go about this? I've never really dealt with mass texting before. Is say a Droid phone capable of sending a text to 40 people?
