Windows 10: Phone Link Issues Enabling Calling Feature

For some reason when I try enabling calls in the Features section of the Phone Link app, it temporarily enables it but then disables it within a minute. Could this be a bug or something preventing the feature to be used?

I found out about the problem when I ran games on the phone using Phone Link. Assuming that the PC is connected to the phone with Phone link On the phone if you look at the Bluetooth settings you will see that:

• Calls = Enabled
• Audio = Not available

However, on the PC if you run Bluetooth Audio Receiver and open a connection to the phone then On the phone if you look at the Bluetooth settings you will see that:

• Calls = Enabled
• Audio = Enabled

It seems I have the Calls feature (still in preview) available for my S9. Possibly still A/B testing for Insiders.

It is the Phone screen feature that will only be available for:

• Samsung Galaxy Fold
• Samsung Galaxy Note 10/ Note 10+
• Samsung Galaxy S10/S10+/S10e
• Samsung Galaxy A30s/A50s/A90

About the Call feature, yes, Bluetooth needs to be enabled and connected to your phone for it to work.

This is actually my most-used feature of Phone Link, and I understand your frustration. I also experience disconnection issues sometimes, and in my case, it is related to my wireless headphone automatically connecting to my PC. I was able to resolve my issue by closing all other Bluetooth devices near my PC and only enabling Bluetooth on my phone and PC, and switching to wired headphones instead.
