    Phone Link Messages show as new on phone even after read on PC, and vice versa


    With the old Your Phone app, when I receive and read a text message on my PC then look at my phone later, the message app doesn't show that I still have unread messages which is what I wanted it to do. But with the new Phone Link app, when I receive and read a text message on my PC then look at my phone later, it still shows that I have unread messages even though I read that message on my PC already. It shows as a "badge" number on my messages app, then when I open the messages app it shows the message in bold letters indicating it hasn't been read. Is there a setting to change this feature?I

    How can I disable the "Link your Phone and PC" notification in Windows 10?

    The new "Continue on PC" feature that came with the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update also includes a notification that pops up saying "Link your Phone and PC". Answering no or clearing the notification gets rid of it, but after some amount of time and/or a reboot, it continuously comes back.

    Presumably, if you actually install the app to link your phone it will stop giving you the notification, and I am also aware that you can completely disable suggestion notifications; however, I do not wish to use the phone link feature and I would prefer not to disable all future suggestions, as I could possibly be interested in one of them. Is there a way to specifically disable a single specific suggestion notification?

    Your Phone App - Link to Windows not working

    Has anyone found the secret to getting the Your Phone - Link to Windows App working correctly?
    Looking at the number of posts in other forums saying they have problems there is clearly a major issue with this App. It's a pity because it used to work quite well before recent Windows updates.
    Basically my phone (Samsung A515) will connect to Your Phone on my PC and I can see the headers of Notifications on my PC. If I try to read Messages or access Photos or open Desktop Apps it says I need permissions and asks me to click on a link to send a permission request to my phone. It never arrives. I don't see any permission request. Also it doesn't say what permissions are missing nor how to enable them.
    The response from MS is always to ensure that your phone and PC Apps are at the latest version (they are). I suspect there is a major bug in this App, yet others seem to suggest that it does work. Hopelessly confused.
